Well said! I thought that Prensky didn’t properly think through the choosing of his anologous “native” and “immigrant”. And he underestimates the strength of the culture that does like to meet face to face, and speak (in real time) directly on the phone.
And I so do agree with you Paul that he overestimates the positive impacts of technology on our learning youth.

Actually, he made me angry! I find it offensive that he thinks that people didn’t multitask before, as just one example. But then, he seems blinded by love, perhaps?

To be fair though, I was challanged by his call to make lessons as engaging and motivating as a video game, and will take it on board…
